Tattoo Removal

Tattoos are an exciting addition to our personal style when we get them, but we don’t always stay happy with them over time. They can fade in an undesirable way over the years, or you may simply prefer to no longer include them in your personal look. Fortunately, tattoos are not as permanent as they used to be thanks to advancements in tattoo removal treatments. If you are unhappy with one or more tattoos, schedule a consultation with us if you’re interested in finding out if you’re a good candidate to have it removed.

What to Expect with Tattoo Removal

Your treatment will begin with a consultation, during which time you will have the chance to ask about the treatment process and find out if tattoo removal is right for you. After determining that you are a good candidate, we can begin your series of treatments.

Tattoo removal is considered a relatively comfortable treatment, but we can provide you with a local anesthetic beforehand to ensure your comfort. You will likely need more than one treatment session, each spaced at least a couple weeks apart, to remove your tattoo as completely as possible. The exact number of treatment sessions you will need will depend on factors such as the size, age and color of your tattoo. Some tattoos may require as little as three treatments, while others may need over ten to fully remove them.

While you will most likely be able to go back to your daily routine as usual, you may have some redness or swelling at the treatment site following your session. However, this is normal and should resolve on its own in a couple of days.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Tattoo Removal?

If you are in generally good health want to remove your unwanted tattoo for good, you may be a good candidate for this treatment. During your initial consultation, we will help you find out for sure if this treatment is right for you.

The Benefits of Tattoo Removal

Many people view this treatment as the perfect option when their tattoo no longer matches their personal style. Tattoo removal is also a non-invasive treatment that calls for little to no downtime, and most patients can return to their usual routine immediately after each session.
